Good riding begins on the ground

Safety, suitability and honest guidance

Horse and rider matching needs a real conversation. Share the relevant details at enquiry so we can advise whether a lesson is suitable.

What to expect

  • A safety briefing before handling or riding begins.
  • A helmet is provided and checked before the lesson.
  • Age-group supervision is discussed when arranging a child's lesson.
  • Riding is optional until the rider is comfortable and the instructor agrees.
Horse matching, height and weight

Horse suitability depends on the individual horse and rider. Share the rider's approximate height and weight privately when you enquire; we'll confirm whether we can make a suitable match before booking.

Medical or accessibility needs

Please tell us about relevant medical conditions, mobility needs or accessibility requests before your visit. We can discuss the setting and lesson format, but suitability is confirmed case by case.
