Bookings, Deposits and Payment

A booking is confirmed when we accept it in writing and any deposit stated in your offer has been paid. Your written offer will show the total price, payment methods, deposit, balance due date and how long the quoted rate is held.

Wait for written confirmation. A provisional date is not a confirmed booking.

Contact us as soon as your plans change. Your booking terms will state the cancellation notice period and any refund, credit or rescheduling conditions before you confirm.

Tell us early. We’ll discuss practical options under those written terms and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Weather and Rescheduling

Extreme heat, storms, unsafe ground or a horse welfare concern can make an activity unsuitable. We’ll contact the booking lead and discuss a practical new time wherever possible.

If we cancel and can’t provide an agreed alternative, we’ll explain the available remedy under your booking terms and Australian Consumer Law.

Share each rider’s age, riding experience, relevant health or mobility needs, and any weight-related requirement before booking. We’ll confirm suitability and any rider limits before payment.

Be upfront. Tell staff if anything changes before the ride.

Supervision and Horse Welfare

Children must have the adult supervision specified for their activity. We’ll confirm the lead-line arrangements and age requirements before a younger rider takes part.

Wear a correctly fitted riding helmet that meets our stated requirements, and ask ahead if you need to know whether one is supplied. Follow staff instructions around horses; don’t feed, approach or handle an animal without permission.

Calm handling comes first. Staff may pause an activity if a horse or guest needs a break.

Property Access and Responsibilities

Stay in guest areas and use marked paths. Close gates as directed, keep clear of livestock and machinery, and don’t enter yards or paddocks without staff permission.

Ask before bringing pets. Smoke only where permitted, and don’t light a fire without staff approval. Alcohol or drugs and horse riding or handling don’t mix.

Stays, Workshops and Groups

For a farm stay, workshop or group event, check the written itinerary for inclusions, arrival and departure times, sleeping arrangements where applicable, and any activity requirements. The named organiser must share those details with participants before arrival.

Keep your group together. Organisers are responsible for arranging the adult supervision specified for minors and collecting any required rider information before the activity.

Keep the Written Details
